The World Boxing Council has finally disclosed the 30-day safety weight for WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. In a very surprising development, Chavez weighed in at 173-pounds, which is over a pound less than Roanld Hearns, who was 174.5. Chavez's weight is surprised, when considering how much bigger he appeared, in comparison to Hearns, during Monday's press conference to announce the fight. The fight takes place on September 17 in Mexico.
