note to Andy Lee: beating the guy that beat you once does not make you the better fighter. the score would be even 1-1, and that would mean you guys are equal fighters... just sayin...

Lol probably the first time I agree with PR.

Andy Lee is a fan friendly fighter people might hate on him but guaranteed him vs Vera is gonna be action packed just like the first one. Lee has the tools to win, but Vera has the will as well and its another 50-50

It does when you were only beaten when the ref stopped the fight while you were still punching. Lee was winning easily and got reckless with the wild throwing Vera.

Brian gets owned this time, I gaurantee it. KO5

I like Lee a lot but the only knock on him is that he fights with no regaurd for punches coming back as if he has head gear on. I've heard he's close to unbeatable in sparring. The issue is that Martinez and maybe even Chavez jr would take advantage of the lack of defense.

Is this where Lee is going???a rematch w/a vera...a no-going-anywhere guy...no sense in saying more as Lee is not going anywhere as he can't avoid his shadow, let alone punches...does he know what defense is??? TV likes him and will run his string out...

There are some ****s in these forums, what is wrong with a guy avenging a defeat, everyone brings up Amir Khan losing to Prescott even though he is beating world class fighters, it's a case of your damned if you do damned if you don't, kudos to him avenging a loss though, says a lot about his character.

Boxing fans are the biggest cvnts sometimes. The Brian Vera loss has been haunting Andy Lee for years now. In fact, everytime Lee's name is brought up, invariably so is Brian Vera and their first fight. IMO Andy Lee needs to put this loss behind him and the only way to do that is, to beat Vera in a rematch...

There's nothing wrong with this fight. Actually it's a great fan fight with action written all over it. Both fighters are riding win streaks, have beaten decent opponents (Vera with Mora and Lee with McEwan), both guys are ranked contenders and there's the first fight and rematch factor for the promoters/fighters/fans to play up....
