Nobody is intrested in women boxing. If tv companies don't pick up their fights and few people come to watch them at the venue then where all that money gonna come from?

    Female boxing sucks anyway.

there was a female boxing match like a month or two ago that did astronomical ratings in Mexico.

There is also a woman in Sweden, I believe it is, who is getting a bit of publicity. Cecilia Braekhus is the name.

I think the right type of fighters, if promoted right, could create a buzz. It would take certain circumstances, either being very good looking, the daughter of a legend (Ali) or just some freak of nature, it could sell. I mean if Gina Carano in MMA can get the attention she gets, boxing could have at least someone similar.

Boxing is entertainment, if more people watch women's boxing they will earn more.

Too many men think of the Valerie Mafoosa's in womens boxing. But to be honest, I have seen some cards where the women fighters put on a better show then all of the mens fights on that card combined. But more women are headed to MMA, where they can make money and recognition. It seems men would rather watch women roll around and wrestle each other then see them stand and trade punches at each other...

First thing I thought of with Sulaiman is that he's looking for a way to make more belts and earn more sanctioning fees for himself. In his mind, green holds no boundries.

The guy was thinking of the Ana Maria Torres/Jackie Nava fihgt. 2 other of the worlds best most haven't heard or seen and would kick Mariana Juarez's ass are Susi Kentikian (Armanian, fighting out of Germany) and Yessica Yolanda Bopp from Argentina, both Champions and undefeated, both a short step behind Torres.
I support Sulaiman's attempt...Hard to pay so much when there's not enough quality per division but they still should get get more than the peanuts they earn now....if he's proposing these amounts for the champs and challengers imagine what they earn for 4 and 6 rounders...

The Ana Maria Torres Vs Jackie Nava II 30 Million Viewers!

TV Azteca reported extremely high ratings for the Ana Maria Torres Vs Jackie Nava II fight! It received 18 points almost 19 which is an estimated 30 million viewers! Very high ratings for a female boxing match. I agree with Jose Sulaiman women need to be paid more and we need to show them the respect they deserve.
