    leonard

i saw where he said that and couldnt believe it.

leonard is very similar to jones and jones embarrassed b-hop with one hand.

leonard would easily out box him i think.

i would pick hop over hagler but woudldnt be surprised either way.

as for robinson while i definitely like hopkins better i think the speed would of robinson would be to much for him.

hopkins sure as hell isnt knocking leonard out in 2 rounds or at any time.

Leonard is way better then jones! he throws punches and has had wars man.
Hopkins is just a guy who scares his opponents with his so called boxing knowledge haahah and fighters who fall trap to it tense up.
Hagler will murder him how many times do I have to repeart hopkins has been knocked down. Watch hagler vs mugabi.

Since when is Leonard some all time great middleweight?

The Hopkins/Leonard matchup isn't like the tired Hagler/Leonard matchup kids. It's not going to be Hopkins following Ray around the ring, letting him flurry to steal rounds.

Hopkins in his prime had very fast hands and fought well at range or on the inside. He can box/brawl/play chess with the best of them.

Hopkins is also one of the craftiest, most intelligent tactitians that the middleweight division has ever seen.

He's stronger than Ray, he's just about as crafty, he carries more power in his punch, and he won't fight Rays fight.

Hopkins UD Ray Leonard. Seriously go watch your old Leonard middleweight fight clips people...I mean come the **** on.

More worthless psycho-babble from you? You've made yourself look foolish on several threads now, not limited to the Duran/Mayweather thread and the Lewis/Bowe thread. You have nothing for me kid.

I can't take anything you say seriously anyway, seeing as how you claim that you "can't tell whats happening in older fights because of the poor quality".

Keep digging douchebag. Duran stops Mayweather anyday of the week and twice on Sundays. Sorry that your love interest is being dissed...don't cry about it or anything.

why so angry? Alot would agree that I don't know ****, but I'm good with that.

top ten of all time? or today? Either way, kind of irrelevant. Being a great great cp, doesn't mean you beat Duran. By the way I love Mayweather and think he is p4p the best today. The issue was Duran vs MW

Sneaky more like it! taylor will mess him up this next fight! he has no more fear he broke that intimidation factor.

Hopkins is smart and crafty in using out of the ring tactics and intimidation to tense his opponents up into believe he is this scary boxer who can hit them any time.

leonard would whoop him! ya so he wasnt a middleweight he was a welter.

Hopkins would not beat a prime ray leonard!

                  Point taken.

Although Ray wasn't near his prime at 160. The mental games of both fighters would cancel each other out.

Truth be told, if these fighters were to meet, the fight would probably never happen. Both guys would ***** too much over the purse, size of the ring, gloves, etc...

I would make Hagler a favorite over Hopkins.

I'd go even on Hop vs. the Sugar Rays. Robinson was beaten a # of times at middleweight. He wasn't invincible at 160, like he was at 147.
As for Leonard...not enough fights at 160 to really gauge him.
But, Ray is about the smartest fighter in history....a master at exploiting weakness, as well as a true athlete. Always the chance he finds Hopkins' weakness(es) & takes advantage of it/them.
