Because I have seen enough of Hopkins and Dawson to know both are boring fighters. Hopkins in my opinion already made history by being the oldest Champion in Boxing history, I have no interest in seeing him outpoint another fighter.
Demarco and Linares on the other hand make for a more compelling fight as the winner of that fight could place itself as a serious contender in the lightweight division, or if they chose can move up to jrww.
