Floyd is smart. Any real boxing fan should/would know how far from reality this statement obviously is, and know that it's just a way to get his fighter's name out there. What else could he have done to get this much attention for Vargas? I bet half the people who read this article went right to youtube to watch a few of his fights. Give Floyd a little credit. That's how promotion works- largely unknown guys call out the champ and say that people are clamoring for a showdown in order to maneuver for position against other contenders. Floyd just happens to be in a better position than other promoters, because people actually read what he says with emotion.

Pathetic attempt to discredit Floyd Mayweather Jr. If any of you morons had any business sense in your heads or a brain in it and wouldn't hate so much, would know that Floyd is trying to get his fighter a big fight against Amir Khan. It's very pathetic that people would try to find anything they can to discredit Floyd. He is basically promoting Jesse Vargas.

He Ducked Tsyui and opted to fight Henry Bruseless?

Ducked cotto and fought Shamba Mitchell who had been KO'd by Kotsya Tsyui a year before.

Ducked Margarito and fought Judah who had lost to baldomir (9 losses)

AND then ducked margarito and cotto again and fought Baldomir.

Khan is the only fighter besides the Klitschkos who would fight ANYBODY.

Mayweather JUST HAS TO DO HIS JOB AND PROMOTE!!! Vargas has got no exposure to be considered as an opponent for Khan.

Vargas still has to get past Josesito Lopez! I give the edge to lopez..more experienced..and can **** for 10 rounds.

InB4 Floyd is using Vargas to duck Khan. Also, Boxingscene getting stories now from Fighthype interviews? Pac stans won't be happy about this, according to them Fighthype isn't a credible website. Even if they are getting exclusive interviews nowadays.
