If this was a way to duck, then Floyd would be the one doing the ducking. He's the one delaying the case.
Pac imo just wants to clear his name and get loads of $$(from Floyd's pockets) in the process..
IIRC, Pac isn't asking for all that much. Floyd should just show up, pay up, beat Pac twice (likely rematch), take his $100 mil, and retire.

Pacquiao's representatives are asking the court to issue a default, which means judgment would be rendered against Mayweather in Pacquiao's favor on the issue of defamation; there would then be a separate hearing on damages. Petrocelli said they would seek more than $10 million in damages, plus attorney fees.
Hopefully Floyd will have some leftover change to pay his back taxes before the liens begin.
" seeking " means nothing, and I just cant wait to hear padded Pacquiao attempt to prove damages. Personally, I would be basing my defense around the fact that " opinion " cannot be damaging, Manny's affairs are in an absolute fkn mess so good luck proving lost opportunity, and Pacquiao bought most of the su****ion upon himself by publicly refusing a harmless blood test.
In my opinion, Judge Judy should try this case.....

It's a wonder Floyd didn't hire you as his legal counsel. You've got it all figured out.

The article fired me up.
It is absurd that Pacquiao is proceeding with legal action so that he can "prove himself", but will still not take the test, has just furnished his 8th (and most ridiculous) excuse yet, but yet proudly insists that he really wants to fight Mayweather.
Yea right
please bear with me.....
the courts are not interested who between pac and floyd is the better fighter. or who is ducking who, or who between the two gave better performances against mosley, hatton or jmm, etc.,...as i have said these are irrelevant to the case..
and pac did not sue floyd and company to only prove himself .....
pac is defending his name and at the same time giving floyd and company to prove their accusations.....
pac's intention is clear....
you hit me below the belt..and you will pay....
floyd not submitting to the courts the required deposition may really end up with the court handing over a default decision in pac's favor...
and floyd and company have to pay....
all of these would have not been issues if only floyd and company did not step over the limits of sportsmanship and civility....
