Im sure Floyds gonna win but no matter how you feel about ortiz he has some very important thing in his favor that Shane and marquez didn't have. Age! This isn't some old warhorse whos been in a million wars and has all bunch of miles on his speedomator. Then factor in that Ortiz is a much bigger man and is a much bigger puncher.

Floyd's definitely not sleeping on Ortiz. Especially as he's coming off a long lay off and getting older. Floyd will be training like a beast for this fight. So don't worry May fans.

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards Ortiz "melting under the lights" and doing things he's not used to and performing worser and worser as the fight progresses.

Make no mistake, Victor Ortiz has BETTER TOOLS to work with than either Mosley, Márquez, or Hatton had.

Ortiz is younger than Mosley, bigger than Hatton, and more aggressive than Márquez.

Even if Márquez and Mayweather met at a comfortable weight, Mayweather would've beaten him because he's a clean counter-puncher. He socks you with one precise punch and then gets out. Márquez isn't like that, he favors getting into exchanges and nearly always gets the better of it because he's an excellent counter-puncher.

Ortiz has the physical tools to beat Mayweather.

What worries me is his mental state. He seemed sooooooooooooooo out of character on that Face-Off show...

There's a chance of an upset, but I'm betting Ortiz won't be able to deliver on fight night.

Typically Floyd, when he takes the fight the guy is a dangerous fighter but once its signed what Floyd feels really comes out. He makes himself look bad, if Ortiz is so easy then why fight him at all? As usual Floyd tells you who is and or isn't a threat by the guys he DOESN'T fight, those are the ones who actually have a shot. Floyd once he left 135 only fights guys he knows he can beat, same situation here. I also LMFAO at the "his young" comments as if THAT is all it takes to make this fight legit.
