He seems supremely confident. He' seen Victor fight so he knows what he's getting into. I doubt he has any fears.

yeah i really hope mayweather underestimates ortiz, i'd love to see ortiz shock the world. but yeah, ortiz pretty much isn't in the same league as floyd, not now anyway. hopefully ortiz trains hard and really leaves it all out there in this performance.

Anyone that thinks Floyd will run is fooling themselves. He is going to stand in there, roll those punches and beat Vic up. By Round 7 Vic is going to be SO discouraged it will be boring because the outcome is so obvious.

LOL, he doesn't see anybody in his league. He's going to go out and do what he does every time out. He doesn't get caught up in the hype of anything.

I was slightly taken back by his responses. Floyd is known for his brazen attitude, much of it probably has more to do with producing entertainment than it does to be disrespectful, but I didn't expect such brash disregard for Ortiz. Floyd Sr. was recently on On The Grind and he said, 'yeah Ortiz is young, but he doesn't move his head, he'll be there to get hit all night long' - I'm sure this is basically what Floyd is thinking (and perhaps many Floyd supporters).

I, on the other hand, am expecting much more from Ortiz. He doesn't have to produce a lot of head movement, just as long as he doesn't walk in or back up in straight lines - use the ring, use your youth to your advantage, seriously, test Mayweather's durability at this stage of his career. Look to overwhelm him and move, you do have the younger legs. I'm not ready to offer a full analysis of this fight, but I do believe Ortiz is game, he's as live as a dog can get. I'm slowly getting more and more excited for this fight as it draws nearer.

whether or not true, i think ortiz needs to start showing less respect to mayweather, i dont know if it was just me...but when watching the hbo face off it seemed like ortiz was starstruck to be in mayweathers presence and just chuckled and smiled when floyd was interupting when he was speaking (max kellermans prada shoes...and when he said he was looking the other way)

i hope its a great fight and i will be watching as a neutral as both guys are likeable (despite floyds pre fight trash talk) but i just hope victor ortiz comes to fight and prepares to the fullest

Mayweather is going to beat the kid up.

You feel Ortiz is a better puncher than Oscar?
