Actually the judges are probably scoring him for punches that didnt land.

once again let me say this

PACs opponents cover up for 12 rounds resulting to alot punches going to his opponents arms which is counted as a miss
Mayweathers opponents trying to chase him for 12 rounds oppening themselves up for 12 rounds will result to an easy target easy to hit type of opponents LOL
see the difference?
u cant blame the othe other fighter for missing because of his opponent covers up for 12 rounds or running away from him ://

Stats from both fighters last two fights that lasted 12 rounds each (deliberately did not consider older fights because that would include Floyd fights that were close to or more than 4 years ago):
Floyd: total punches= 489/970 =50%
Jabs: 270/526 =51% =11.25/rd.
Power punches: 228/384 =59% =9.5/rd.
Pac: total punches = 698/1796 =39%
Jabs: 110/730 =15% =4.6/rd.
Power punches: 588/1066 =55% =24.5/rd.
Based on those stats, Floyd is definitely more accurate. But would that mean he is more effective? He throws more jabs than power punches; 11.25/rd. vs. 9.5/rd., and he hits his opponents with less punches per round.
Pac's stats shows a different picture. He jabs are a lot less accurate because his reach is a lot shorter. He probably uses these more to gauge the distance or to prepare for a barrage of punches. Now take note of his power punches. He lands a whopping 24.5 per round.
Based on those stats, if you have a choice, who would you rather fight?

Pacquiao throw more punches and is a combination puncher, both these things redcue accuracy. On top of this Pacquiao is a harder puncher and throws harder puncher, another thing that will effect accuracy.
We also have to forget about the jab as the jab is use to open a defence and find range, so it can be used effectively even though it is not landing.
Pacquiao also lands his punches right on the button, **** on the chin, Mayweather punches are more scoring punches.
Pacquiao landed an astonishing 50% of his power punches against Mosley while Mayweather landed an impresiive 46%, still 4 % less than Pacquiao. And Mosley was in defensive mode when facing Pacquiao and Pacquiao was throwing more punches than Mayweather.
Pacquiao vs Mosley
177 / 353: 50%

Mayweather Mosley
123 / 267: 46%

Pacquiao vs Margarito
411 / 713: 58%

Mayweather Marquez
105 / 177: 59%
Pacquiao vs Clottey
232 / 682: 34%

Mayweather vs Hatton
257/100: 39%
Pacquiao vs Cotto
276 / 560: 49%

Mayweather vs De La Hoya
241/138: 57%
Pacquiao vs Hatton
65 / 105: 62%
//krikya360.com/forums/vi...atton-compubox
Mayweather vs Baldomir
258/131: 51%
Pacquiao vs De la Hoya
195 / 333: 59%
//krikya360.com/forums/vi...-hoya-compubox
Mayweather vs Judah
145/295 49%
So what is there 6 fight average?
Pacquiao 52%
Mayweather 50.2%
There you have it the stats back up my theory and add to this Pacquiao throws more, hits harder and throws more combinations and higher punch combinations, you would have to agree Pacquiao is the more accurate puncher.

Pacquiao is clearly a more accurate puncher. Why people go off of connect percentage is beyond me, because while numbers are somewhat of good indicator, they aren't the end all be all when it comes to accuracy.
While I haven't read this thread, I have no doubt this is a Floyd circle jerking contest.
Ask yourself this; Dwight Howard's field goal percentage is always better than Kobe's, so does that make Howard a better shooter? There were times when guys like Chad Pennington's completion percentage where higher than Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, so does that mean Chad is a more accurate passer.
The answer to both is clearly no, because when it comes to making a difficult shot, or putting the ball in a spot where most can't, then that's really when we know who is better than who.
Floyd is similar to a qb that goes out a throws a punch of screens and slants and has a high percentage due to him being more economical. Manny is like Brett Favre, in the sense that he tries to force things and try to land things most wouldn't even attempt.
If fighter A is waiting for a guy to miss and land when the window (counter opportunity) is huge, then of course he will have a high percentage. If fighter B is punching threw a fighters guard (first few land on arms etc, then next on opponent once he breaks threw) then of course his connect percentage might not be lower.
The reason Manny is a more accurate puncher than me, because is ability to land punches right on the money, as well as land when the window is small is unbelievable and clearly better than Floyd's. There will be times where fighters would be in perfect defense stances with their guards up and if there is a small crack, Manny lands right on the money. I never see Floyd do that, rather, most of his punches are when his opponents are wide open and easy to be landed on.
