Also he used the total punches for all fights, I used the percetages from each fight to get the average. Because it would penalise a fighter for getting KOs, which is wrong.
No one has countered my points on combination punches, volume punching and hard punches.
Total punches thrown are also included anyway, so what's your point? That's how you determine connect percentage.
No one needs to because you haven't provided any counter facts.Last edited by Vadrigar.; 07-26-2011, 08:06 AM.

This will skrewed the stats and fighters that force the fight will have a lower accuracy because they are more likely to use there jab this way.
That is the reason why I just used power punches.

And as for this thread, yes Manny Pacquiao lands more power punches than Floyd. That is no surprise. But the fact that you excluded the jab because its used to set up punches rather than hurt is ******. The jab has more uses than setting up punches. And trust me. If used correctly a jab can be used to hurt. I've sparred plenty of times and there were times when I would try to be aggressive and come in strong but I ran right into his jab, which stopped me right in my tracks as well (also gave me a nose bleed). There is a difference when you're just getting jabbed and when you COLLIDE with a jab. In fact I believe that Floyd dropped an opponent with a jab to the body. So how are you going to tell me a jab is not a hurting punch, when that jab that made my nose bleed hurt me??
