Comments Thread For: Joseph Agbeko: To Me, Nonito Donaire is a Coward!

krikya360.com caught up with IBF bantamweight champion Joseph "King Kong" Agbeko before the press conference to promote his fight versus Abner Mares that takes place on August 13th at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The fight will determine the winner of Showtime's bantamweight tournament.

Agbeko should be careful who he insults and what he wishes for. An angry Donaire would be even more dangerous. He would anihilate Agbeko within 5-6 rds, imo.
No one at 118lbs is gonna be a big challenge to ND, he's clearly head and shoulders above the rest.
Gamboa and maybe Rigondeaux will be the biggest challenges for Nonito as he moves up.
I would still pick him over either though. ND is the future P4P No.1, imo.

Agbeko would get Montiel'd. Agbeko has a good chin but that power and speed would get him ktfo.

I would like Nonito to fight the Agbeko/Mares winner then ktfo Vazquez Jr, Darchinyan (again) and Arce at 122. I think all of those fights are pretty eazy-e for him.

agbecko has a better chance of beating nonito than rigo....the best way to fight nonito imo is like how concepcion fought him, nonstop pressure...agbecko is a better all around fghter than concepcion and he follows that, he might beat nonito....with rigos chin, he aint getting past 6 vs nonito...

Agbeko shouldnt talk, fighters from the African continent havent shown any heart except Samuel Peter, he a true warrior, but guys like Clottey and all the other flops? They have the physical tools but their mental game is weak so they get owned.

Agbeko shouldnt talk, Boxing is a game where the talking is done by fists, not by words. Besides, your a midget, you lucky your midget weightclass has an exciting fighter like Donaire and Vic to keep it alive or else nobody will be talking about you guys.

I want Agbeko to beat Mares, but I don't think he will. Also Donaire kills both Agbeko and Mares in the ring on the same night. Both of them should feel real lucky that Donaire wasn't in the tourney because Donaire would have KO wins over all of them.
