Man I like this match alot, ISHIDA is a great fighter for boxing and needs to be promoted more. If he brtings same game as he did against kirkland, we have a new superstar.

Im a big fan of Ishida after what he did to kirkland

Isn't it time Chavez fought a talented fighter? The WBC should be embarrassed to let this fight happen! These phony pricks (WBC) actually billed Rubios last fight as a WBC title eliminater, collected a sanctioning fee. Rubio wins and they tell him to get ****ed. I'm not saying Rubio is a great fighter but he earned to get the nod on Sept 24.

I think sanctioning bodies give the newly crowned champion (Jr. in this case) an optional defense before they require him to face his mandatory. But your right, Rubio earned his shot fair and square and should the his next opponent. Plus it's a good fight that Chavez can win and an opponent who will look good on his resume...

I heard Ishida had to drive a cab for 6 months before Chavez agreed to fight him... Madness.
