It cracks me up how pacfan's try to insinuate that Manny has this awesome resume', but if you look at the fights individually, he has achieved very little.

Yo Lead, you scorching them. If I was Manny Pacquiao, I would be ashamed to have these critters as fans and vice versa. Pac ain't clean out the WW division because he ain't fight none of the top guys in the division. Cotto was at a 145 catchweight for his 147 title (good win but would have been better at 147), when he already fought Oscar at 147, so the test the waters argument is null in void. Roach just knew that he had to take something away from Cotto eventhough many saw Cotto lost something after Margarito and it was confirmed in the Clottey fight (But props to Miguel for fighting with that big cut over his eye). Pac couldn't even show Cotto that much respect to fight him at 147 and we all knew Cotto deserved to defend his title at 147 and not 145.

Then he fought Clottey after Joshua lost to Cotto and hasn't done anything significant in his whole career but come up short on every big occassion (This is the guy Manny left the Floyd negotiations to fight). Mosley was already beat up and exposed as a shot fighter. Arum, Roach and Ariza threw Shane under the bus after his performance against Floyd and Mora but Pac still fought him. Manny ain't clean out ****. He avoided Mosley in 09 after Mosley beat Margarito and wouldn't even fight a young fighter like Berto (Not saying Andre would have won) but Berto was a top WW, young and undefeated AND the WBC champion (using the excuse that Berto wasn't a draw but neither was Clottey. Rather just a Top Rank fighter). Floyd retired twice since Hatton and he still tops Pac at WW, who has been fighting more consisitently. How can Pac fans cosign this as great?

pac has been on video saying he will take the tests. what did floyd do? vacation. he came back demanding $100 million. this is actually confirmed by no less than his uncle.

Back in June 2010, when Bob Arum was busy playing the media over his infamous "second" round of negotiations..... you know, the negotiation that required no meetings, no discussions, no deals, no agreements, no contracts? The one where 4 people belonging to seperate business organisations, all of whom would be absolutely CRITICAL to making that fight happen, didn't know a thing about it..... Bob Arum publicly stated that "Manny has agreed to all of Mayweathers testing demands".....

The Cotto fight was there for the taking, the boxing world wanted it, Cotto was ready, he said he was willing to take on anyone after the Mosley fight.

Floyd went into retirement.

When Marg was beating everyone in sight looking like a beast, Arum offer up Mayweather biggest ever pay day to fight Marg, Floyd said he had an injury, but then went of to fight Baldomir and only made $8 million what was Arum's opening offer.

Now who was the easier fight, Baldomir or Margarito?

And who did Floyd decide to fight?

Floyd admits it, it all about the money for him, and that 0 brings him the money, he is not going to risk it on a tough fight where he can lose.

Ummmmm..... Cotto NEVER pushed for a Floyd fight. When he was asked if he wanted to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr in an interview he said "I fights whoever my promoter wants me to fight". Come on with the Floyd ducked Cotto and Margarito BULL****. Floyd whole motivation at that point was to get a fight with Oscar and Arum wasn't willing to oblige that so Floyd bought out of his contract and went after Oscar on his own. Floyd made an offer to Arum to fight Margarito and Cotto if he got him Oscar De La Hoya. All of it is documented. Floyd left Arum and was supposed to fight Oscar but Oscar decided to take some more time off and Floyd fought Baldomir as a fill in. How come people continue to say Floyd ducked them two but can't prove it? Floyd became the Lineal champion after he beat Baldomir (Note, everyone thought Floyd was ducking Carlos Baldomir at the time and would have a hard time with him because of size). As for Margarito being a tougher challenge? Lets ask Margarito what he thought about Baldomir/Floyd....
