Breaking News: Donaire expected to sign a new agreement with Top Rank

Return of the Prodigal Son: Donaire Back to Top Rank

In a week or two and after a little more fine-tuning, a new agreement between world bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire, Jr. and his promoter, Top Rank, is expected to be signed ending months of inactivity for the talented Fil-American boxer.

The new agreement, which according to those in the know would be a totally new promotional contract covering another three years, would effectively lead the 28-year-old Philippine-born American fighter out of a limbo resulting from an ill-advised move to sign up with Golden Boy Promotions while his contract with rival Top Rank Promotions was still effective.

Thief Arum got his way. He's like a 5 year old with his antics, but apparently it is working.

hah! you really think Rachel cares about that more than how much $$$ she's probably going to get from Nonito resigning with Bobby? lol. She's a gold-digger, so she'd probably suck Bob's dick if offered the right amount of $$.

No way that is a good business relationship. Arum will probably try and punish Donaire.

If getting punished means making 6 figures a fight, sign me up.

I'm just glad it's finally sorted out. Donaire needs to get back in the ring ASAP.

And I wonder if there is now any chance he could be on the undercard of a Pac fight, like he always wanted. He needs more exposure, casuals need to see Donaire fight.
