come on man, baldomir and judah and margarito were the only options and margarito was a distant third and i detailed exactly why, at the time of the judah fight the "fight margarito" campaign wasnt anywhere near what it became during the summer 2006.

Not only was i here, but that was when greg leon actually had good inside info on **** that was happening.

Could have Floyd fought someone else after Judah lost to a damn journeyman?

come on man, i dont know whats gotten into you, but the answer is yes, other options being baldomir and margarito at a VERY distant 3rd and i even outlined why.

So even though he could have picked another opponent. He went against the guy who lost to a journeyman?

Instead of the lineal champ, or the longest reigning title holder and arguably the best WW at that time?

Skill wise, Margo was never anything special...

As far as the Oscar comment...I don't deal in fantasy. Only fights that have happened.
I didn't say you did. That was just my opinion. Margarito couldn't beat Santos because Santos was just as big as Margarito and could take his pressure, so Antonio could not maul through him like he did against fighters at 147. Margarito was limited and all you had to do was take his pressure away and a fighter could beat him (Mosley comes to mind). The Oscar comment was just my opinion as well. Oscar had a big punch and Margarito would have been there to take it. I don't deal with fantasy either but more with styles.

Yo, what the hell is wrong with you? Are you just busting balls on here? I think we covered the Judah situation some pages ago. Floyd became the Lineal champion of the division by beating the fighters you said that he should not have fought. What's your issue with Zab Judah anyway? At that time, he was considered a much better opponent than Margarito was and more highly regarded and those are facts. Anyways, I'm done. Tired of going in circles.
