Not disagreeing with you and having my own opinion are two different things. I didn't state I disagreed or agree 24/7 >>> 360 or vice versa. I simply have no opinion on it because I don't favor one over the other. Apparently you do, and as I said that is your opinion and is fine.

        Star Power?

i find no way whatsoever to see how either Ortiz or Mayweather will spin that to sound remotely tough while on the hype train.

What a horrible name for a fight.

        Star Power......

You went from the male demographic being high on TNT and TBS to naming Time Warner's companies? What does any of this have to do with Mayweather vs Ortiz? LOL like I said, I believe it'll be a success regardless, but you're putting the news on a higher pedestal because you're a major fan of Floyd. You are a huge fan of Floyd's aren't you?

          man look at the article....

"Time Warner also controls print and online publications such as Sports Illustrated, People and Entertainment Weekly.

Golden Boy followed Top Rank's lead in its negotiations with HBO, which was desperate to retain Mayweather, who has fought all of his major fights on HBO or HBO PPV, especially after losing Pacquiao.

"We wanted to make sure all other assets that HBO has available will be fully utilized to support this fight and give it the widest possible exposure," Schaefer said. "I am very happy that HBO Sports and HBO senior management were very open and that we had productive conversations, which fell on open ears. HBO seems very motivated and excited to show the world what they can do utilizing their vast array of assets."

One concrete example of how the fight will gain wider exposure than just on HBO: The reality series "24/7," which follows the buildup of major HBO PPV fights, will be replayed on one of the Turner networks, Schaefer said. The most likely would be TNT, TBS or truTV.

          ^^^^^

in no way does this say TIME WARNER will only promote the fight oin TNT or TBS or TRUtv....those are the CABLE channels in which 24/7 would be aired on.....but in no way does that mean that TIME WARNER wiill NOT exhaust all of their MEDIA resources like the ones that I mentioned to PROMOTE a fight that their SISTER company HBO will be providing....

this commercials will be on EVERY STATION Time Warner owns....EVERY publication from newspapers (LA TIMES, NY TIMES) to ****zines (SI).....

and yes it will be trailors in theatres...I seen trailors for Mayweather-Mosley in theatres...why wouldnt they do it now?

But now you're just assuming they're going to exhaust all their resources with all these companies. No where does it say all these parent companies are just going to throw parades for Mayweather vs Ortiz. The main target (because of it's history of covering sports) is TNT and TBS (which was mentioned even months before when CBS was covering Pacquiao vs Mosley and HBO's potential for doing the same with TBS and TNT). Again, I agree this is going to be a successful event, but HBO (if they're smart) are going to target the outlets that make sense. If you can't agree with me there, I don't know what else to tell you lol.

Yeah, he should definitely come back from a long layoff and fight Martinez and Pacquiao right away. Only true fighters with courage would do that instead of taking on the #2 welterweight. While he is at it, he should loosen up the defense and eat more punches because only true warriors take punishment. Defense is for pussies.

Seriously bro, you have to be Pound for Pound the worst poster on this site, there are a few others ther to keep you comany, somethign to be proud of, i guess.

you act like this is being played on lifetime or Oxygen....TNT & TBS & TRUE TV are all male dominated stations....

this isnt rocket science..its TV programming
TBS already offers African American programming, and has an African American market. If they plan to re air 24/7 episodes or commercials in those time slots, then it make good business sense.
