Comments Thread For: Rhodes: This is Not The End, He Was Just Too Strong

Junior middleweight Ryan Rhodes, suffering the third knockout loss of his career on Saturday night in Guadalajara, has no intention of packing up his bags to retire from boxing. In an earlier BoxingScene story, Rhodes admitted that WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez was too strong and his bodyshots were too damaging. The end came in the twelfth round when the referee finally saved Rhodes from further punishment.

            Rhodes is correct.

The force is strong with this one.

Then what the hell is their to prove if he can't even beat Canelo? That means he definitely can't beat Cotto, Cintron, Angulo, and Paul Williams. Sad to see fighters fighting paycheck to paycheck.

But back to Europe to pad that record to more before being destroyed by another young prospect.
