I'm seeing echoes of Hatton in Ortiz as I'm sure he'll come out winging shots, bull rushing, and attempting to rough up Floyd. By the 3rd or 4th round, adjustments will have been made and Ortiz will end up as all the rest, flat footed, perplexed, and terrified to throw for fear of eating another sublimely timed counter shot. Floyd has the superior skills in timing, angles, space, speed, experience, and possibly power. This will be a mismatch. TKO Round 9 or 10.

Don't count Victor out....

..Victor did well against Lamont and he is a lot quicker and stronger now at 147, not to mention his taller than Jr. If Floyd almost lost to Oscar back in the days, Ortiz will definitely give Jr a serious work out. I doubt this fight will ever happen, too risky for Jr. Victor 's probably shot but the aggression he showed for 12 rounds against Berto is something to think about.

Being strong, fast, and young doesn't win you fights.

And skill wise Ortiz is out of his league in this fight.
The version that beat Berto is the same version that fought Maidana.

Beating Berto is not that impressive to me.
Here is a guy(berto) that fought bums and has suspect chin and no defence.
Collazo did some damage to Berto to, and Ortiz used Collazo's blueprint to beat Berto.
