Obviously, you cannot say the Williams or Sanders fights were bigger than his loss to Lewis as far as Klitschko's prestige. And that is SAD. To have a champ boasting his biggest fight, or the fight that "made" him was a loss...to a man who wasn't even at his best! Please Lennox, come back ( in shape ) and restore the division to some decency.
Lewis has little chance at beating Vitali now. Wise up.

Lewis better be careful making a comeback decision,Vitali is no where near the same fighter now as he was in their fight. He is 100% better as was shown in the Williams fight. He throws hard accurate shots, uses wicked combinations and mixes his punches with ko power on everything. What impressed me was he never got rushed or got discouraged against Williams just methodically beat the crap out of him.He has turned the corner and Lewis would be crazy to rematch him,he know's it himself that's why he keeps coaching all Vitali's opponents. How the hell any man could beat a man on a cut and a cut only while losing in the judges and publics eyes, couldn't even get off his stool at the end and then retire and not give a rematch. He got beat, knows he got beat, and is afraid to get beat again, so he will be content to yip off from a commentators seat.It is typically arrogant of Lewis even in retirement to try to steal Vitali's limelight while doing nothing to earn it, Lewis left the way he fought with no class.

            that's right!!
what would him coming back do??? it would be hopeful to say that VK KO'n LL would make him respected and deserving of the championship, but as we all know haters would just make up an excuse like LL is too old and it doesn't prove anything...

IF he comes back and gets the piss beat out of him, he will loose his job as half-assed commentator on the sidelines... everyone will just look at him sadly and think "that poor old washed up soul"... like when someone looks on a homeless person with pitty..

Another Klichko vs. Lewis thread... We will never know how that fight would end if it went on so what's the point talking about it?

if lewis came back and fought vitali he would have more to lose and very little to gain. lewis is older and has not trained for a boxing match since his "win" against vitali. then you have klitchko who has been active and has gotten better since he last fought lewis.

if lewis is smart (which it think he is) then he will stay retired.

this is a boxing talk forum... we're talking about boxing, that's why. You don't HAVE to join in on this forum.

it's intriguing, so people talk about it
