There is an anti - ****** thing going on in the UK, and I would say quite a few dislike him on his race and religion.
Heck it happens on his facebook. A lot of white power stuff.
As for he can't get away with a lot of stuff, I think that is not the case. He has got a lot of heat. However not many others get away with stuff either, but they are just less known.

Did Hatton have a section of boxing fans in Britain that always wanted him to be KOed and then rejoiced when it happened?
Absolutely, some have even posted in this thread. Granted, he didn't have a section of racists turning up at his fights just to sledge him but not every UK boxing fan is a Hatton fan, far from it. No fighter is universally liked, but Hatton and Khan both have a lot more supporters than haters.
Here they are Booing there fellow countryman at the Hatton-Pacquiao weigh in, skip to 4 minutes 20 seconds !!!
somewhat mis-leading, Khan was in the Pacquiao camp for that fight.
Regarding Zab's re-tweets, I'd imagine he was paying more attention to the messages of support to him in those messages than some of the more questionable content.
