Why doesn't Tarver get the respect he deseres

I think they dislike him because he thinks that he beat an old Roy (after all the weight issues) that he should be already viewed as an all time great. He also trash talks too much for only beaten a good fighter but not great fighter in Johnson (he's definitely NO journeyman) and an old Roy, his next is Harding...He also was a crack-addict that has something to do with it. Point being, he's not that marketable thats why people don't like him and he is a slacker.

Tarver is just a nothin special champion, his skilss are average he is not a knockout artist like Julian Jackson not as skillful as Michael Spinks or Roy Jones. He is on par with guys like Clinton Woods, Juan Diaz. SUPERSTAR HE IS NOT

You ****ing mexican rascist! What the **** does it have to do with Tarver being black. As opposed to your chicken Barrera, Tarver is a lot better. Tarver doesn't chicken out from fights and challenges issued. I cannot say the same for Barrera.

Personally, I don't like Tarver, I'm a Jones fan, but common sense dictates that Tarver has by far, proven the better man. By beating Jones in the 3rd fight, he will have recognition and closure on this issue. Jones is just too old to be fighting. He's already suffered 2 brutal KO's and still insists on fighting. I just hope Tarver doesn't give Jones brain damage.
