Hopkin's simply found a style of Calzaghe very difficult. Joe isn't a slow guy and makes you work very hard. Just the style to make life hard for Hopkin's.

Pascal, Pavlik, Jones etc... Were or are tailor made for Hopkin's.

A boxer with speed is what Hopkin's doesn't like, but they need to have skills and a good boxing mind.

he wasn't even saying anything he was just there for support. fights are won and lost in training camp. hopkins and richardson obviously have better chemistry than hopkins and roach. roach worked with hopkins for wright and calzaghe and those were probably his worst performances in the ring even though he should have won both.
