I like this idea. I want Cotto-Pac 2 after Pac-Marquez 3 because they are the toughest fights out their for Pac til Mayweather gets on national TV and tells us he wants to fight Manny Paciquao instead of making freakin excuses.

Cotto is still a top 3 welterweight if he goes down because going up in weight I think Cotto lost a step in his speed and power, I think 147 is the perfect weight to get his speed and power back. With manny in his corner he'd give Pac a hell of a fight like he did the first time. The last few rounds were a beatdown but Cotto did fight hard the first half of the fight backing Pac up against the ropes a few times.

Just because Victor Ortiz beat Berto don't make him a better fighter then Cotto. Cotto would have stopped Berto. Brutally beat him down. He ain't aggressive enough to put the pressure that is needed against Cotto to beat him. Cotto would outbox him. I want Cotto vs Cintron at 150lbs first. Who was signed by Top rank to be a potential Pac opponent MAYBE. So if he beats Cotto he stands a better chance, and Cotto would beat another solid fighter. Cintron ain't no joke he hits I think harder in one punch then Pac or Margarito do. His KO's put people to sleep. He has that style Cotto needs to prove him against.

Cotto vs Cintron in septemeber followed by Pac vs Marquez, then Pac vs Cotto next year. I definitely would like that. Cotto's still not a Floyd leftover, and Margarito was definitely I'm convinced wearings wraps for multiple fights and cheated. You don't catch the beating Billy Collin's junior took for no reason. That was some devine ***** haha.

Pointless fight.

Cotto should forget about fighting Pac, he won't ever beat him. Though he's good enough to rule a different division so he should clean out 154 because there's still some good fights for him there. The only person at 147 that there would be any point fighting would be Victor Ortiz but that's an easy win for Cotto imo.

Cotto has not improved IMO. The opposition wasn't even that stellar and he didn't impress all that much.

All one would have see for validation is for Floyd to call out this regenerated Cotto at WW-JMW and you would hear how shot Cotto is and that Floyd would be cherry picking a shot and or destroyed fighter who was beaten badly by Pac even though Margarito was the one who actually did the real damage and took the "0".

i have great respect for cotto as a fighter, but i'd rather both Pac and Cotto fight the younger challengers and give them a chance to shine.
