I knew the fight wasn't gonna be competitive.I knew Mosley wouldn't win & I thought for sure Manny was gonna knock him out.Shane isn't a counter puncher & never was.He did show some angles with his old legs.Manny was frustrated by that. What Mosley did show was that if U get a prime elite fighter with good movement who can counterpunch & "pull the trigger",U can indeed beat Manny.Martinez can do those things, but somehow he's too big.Floyd can also do those things.Mosley just layed the blueprint like Oscar did to Tito.

I dont think SSM exposed Pac. JMM has that feather in his cap.

PAC didn't fight until after the so-called knockdown in the 10th. Where he landed +50% of his power shots on a backpeddling opponent who circled and clinched his way to survive. You can't blame PAC for that. If anything he should be given credit for making Mosley land a measly 6-7 punches after the KD.

That being said, I agree, PAC does need to better in cutting off the ring.

Manny got exposed big time! Shane showed the world that manny doesnt look good fighting a guy that runs and back paddle for all 12 rounds..

I feel like Pac is always going to have a tough time cutting off the ring with guys that move because of the range that he likes to fight at. It's difficult for a fighter to cut off the ring when he has absolutely no desire to be inside on his opponent. Pac doesn't like/can't fight inside, he prefers to fight from the mid range (not too far away, but not too close). Cutting off the ring while continually trying to fight from that range is like trying to walk up an escalator that's going down.

Still a sucker fr the straight right counter, and still moves in straight lines.

pac looked bored in there with shane. he showed the same against cotto when cotto began to run in the later rounds. same thing happened against clottey. and when his opponents refused to engage he drops his guard a little bit to entice them to fight. at times he even let them take some free shots. but with shane, even when pac opened up shane refused to let his hands go fearing he'll get countered and ko. and it's not like pac can't cut the ring because he showed he can easily get close to unload his combinations but shane was always ready to grab him and hold to dear life.

People talk about the "good old days" of boxing and noobies look at them like they are from the moon, but in the "good old days" fighters in a fight did not (would not) tap gloves 44 times through 12 rounds. That's insane. That is Shane trying to survive, and Pac willing to let him. Bernard Hopkins called it a sign of submission, Shane trying to be friends with the bully to avoid getting pounded. It worked. Fighters like Tyson, Hagler, and others would not put up with that BS, and I can see them punching Shane instead of tapping gloves, just like Floyd did when Shane tried that nonsense. Back in the day, fighters were not buddies in the ring even when they were buddies outside.
