Originally posted by SacTown1only one of us is crying homeboy, I'm just stating the thought that neither guy has improved a whole lot recently, if you think your boy Wlad is a great fighter after what happened last night, feel free, it's your time 2 brag, but he's a big target with no chin, which will spell doom sooner than later
what elevated them is that we saw Peter's chin finally tested, and he showed his worth...we saw Wlad's stamina and heart tested again, and he showed up better than in the Brewster and Sanders fights...
you cannot train a freaking chin...if it is weak, it is weak...all you can do is train the fighter to try to get hit less, improve stamina, learn to hold at the right times, and learn to survive when hurt...

if you lean in, and hold, and the opponent is still in an offensive position, that opponent CAN HIT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!
Watch Mesi-Jirov for perfect evidence of a CLEAN, LEGAL punch to the back of the head, it's part of boxing

like I stated before, my one big hope for last night was for a SUPERSTAR to emerge, we found out, once again, that both guys have big tool-boxes with very few tools in them....okay bad analogy....both guys have great attributes, but niether guy is a special fighter that can dominate the division

Was Jirov warned or penalized vs. Mesi? Nope!
Was Rid**** Bowe penalized for flooring Holyfield in round 11 of their 1st fight for his shot to the back of Evander's head? Nope!
IT'S PART OF BOXING!

I know what you're thinking... But just trust me on this one.
Rabbit punching is an illegal boxing move, go down to your local boxing gym and try to get away with it in sparring and you'll see what I mean.
