They must also give bonus points for headbutt the way Ward is going.
Effective punches, Dirrell landed all the telling blows. You can bitch about how he fought but Dirrell was the only one landing clean effective punches.

0,1 or 4,5 I will choose 4 or 5 every time no matter how they fight, if style effects your view that much I am glad you aren't a judge.

2 punches in a fight then running for the rest of it doesn't win fights.

Run, hold, run hold, run hold, punch, run hold, run hold.

No wonder Americans are turning of boxing if that what wins boxing matches over there.

2 punches works if the other guy does nothing, all I see is complaints about his style no real reasoning as to why Froch actually won~

Froch will throw a lot punches against Ward and has height and reach advantage. Froch likes to **** and carries a heavy hand and an iron chin.

Ward is more technically skilled than Froch- who hangs his hands dangerously low. Ward is also a very accurate puncher with a range of different punches he can land.

The difference is one of power. Froch carries a heavier hand than Ward and he like to ****. Ward, on the other hand, does not seem to have much power with only 13 KOs. He's a skill fighter, not a sc****r. Froch also has a real killer instinct and goes certainly get the KO if he gets Ward hurt.

The Johnson fight will let us a lot.

That's because Froch didn't win, and the Brits know it. That was home-cooking at it's best.

Dirrell was deducted one point in the tenth round for excessive holding.
              Total punches: Froch 153/475 32%; Dirrell 105/315 33%.

Run and hold does not win fights, you have to throw more than the occasional punch.

150 of the punches Froch landed were nothing punches about 75 of Dirrell's were solid blows.

Honestly, I could not point out three telling blows Froch landed, that right there doesn't win you fights. The game is still about punching the other guy effectively more than you get punched effectively right?

First things first, Not saying froch won, don't know what the punch stats were but hometown had something to do w/it but also the perception of froch coming forward making the fight while dirrell was going backwards running at times Ring generalship does play a part it's not like it was a total blowout froch might of thrown more punches in the fight? Not saying i agree just making the point

Direll won the fight based on clean, effective, punching. Case closed.
