    WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez feels very good about his chances to beat Manny Pacquiao at the catch-weight of 144-pounds. This past Monday, Marquez accepted a revised offer from Top Rank to face Pacquiao on November 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Marquez and Pacquiao fought to a draw in 2004 and then Pacquiao won a controversial twelve round split decision in the 2008 rematch.

            Its good to see a PR fan supporting a Mexican. Yeah i hope Marquez can give Pacquiao a good fight like he did in their two meeting and certainly better than Pacquiao last 3 fights but Marquez don't get f'ed up wit Diaz.

              This is like playing fetch with your dog and using a lit stick of dynamite. It may not be suicidal, but it doesn't sound healthy. Floyd cheated, and payed a fine, which didn't help Marquez in the ring, so that loss is excusable, but Floyd has left boxing for fear of the Pacman. If he wasn't shamed or scared he would show his face in the ring. Marquez keeps barking up Pac's tree, what nerve.

                Besides the weight of 144, there is a clause that fines Pacquiao for failing to make the contract weight. The Filipino star would have to pay Marquez $1 million dollars for every pound above the contract limit of 144.
                Manny will just eat 5 cups of rice everyday instead of the typical 7.
