I would give him respect if he didn't say he was going to go toe to toe with him but in actual fact run for almost the entire 12 rounds.

My interpretation of running is when someone continues to get out of punching range, Shane was always within punching range, only issue was he couldn't pull the trigger. I've actually watched it, I've noticed that popular opinion was that he ran, not that popular opinion matters on Boxingscene especially, but the only time I saw running was in the 11th round. I could understand the whole he didn't engage, try and what not, but the running thing is being greatly exaggerated.

As a boxing fan I couldn't resist and bought the fight. This is the third time in a row that I buy a ppv fight with Mosley and it stinks up the place.
You never know when a fighter is going to give one last good fight but Mosley clearly was in survival mode. I never care for the pre fight talk cause in the ring is where you show what you are really made of and Mosley has clearly shown in the past fights that he can't compete anymore with the top athletes of the sport in his weight class

Mosley has always fought the best guys but his last few fights were strictly to pay Jin's bills.
Everytime he touched gloves with Pac he said "thanks man for allowing me to make some easy money."

Considering what little Mosley had left, asking for anything else of him...would have been asking him to get knocked out. It's funny because no one wants to talk about Pacquiao's inability to cut off the ring, Mosley was still there and ready to be taken out.

Respect for that performance? No way.
Especially after we just saw an Eric Morales that was even more past his prime, even more of an underdog, and got his eye busted up and closed in the first round, and yet fought his heart out trying his best to win.
That was a performance that demanded respect. That was a performance that made you rethink just how great "El Terrible" was. That was a performance that reminded you why you're a fan of boxing in the first place. Because you can never predict how far a man's heart and courage can take him in the ring.
Shane's performance was none of those things.
