I believe so. I think GBP only has to match that offer and Marquez can't fight pac and has to fight ortiz.

I think he can easily get out this contract, not all offers are identical, it should give them enough ground to challenge GBP 'presumed' match

But like I said as a Pac fan. Whatever now it's more likely that Pac will fight bradley which I believe is a good fight.

I agree, Bradley is a better fight.

you think HBO is going to pay 5mil for a Maidana fight? Hell NO. Not Bradley either after what he did against Devon. Its either Ortiz or Kahn. Kahn was just about to make 1.2mil to fight Bradley so why would HBO pay him all that money for JMM when he cant sell in the US? Ortiz is the only guy. They can hype it up as a big Mexican thing, have the fight in a Mexican/American territory like Dallas, and hype it up as the guy who really beat Pac twice vs the guy who people think has a chance to be the next Oscar. Again, I still dont think thats worth 5mil either but its the only option.

I personally think GBP has to be careful not to cut off there nose to spite there face. They cant be so hung up on not letting Arum win that they severly overpay for this fight. It could go either way

arum dont care about good fights ( i.e. see last saturday's fight).. he cares about money and thats it!... he's going to have a heart attack trying to sell a fight with bradley.. haha

he wanted marquez to get mexican revenue, haha

it is a good fight, but at this point I would worry on the possibility of it not being an entertaining fight. Which is what I think pac needs right now. With JMM we're pretty much guaranteed he's going to show up determined and he's going to give pac a good fight. With bradley I just don't know. with bradley's style it could turn out to be a boring match, plus the headbutts, i dunno.

Cant see this happening. Marquez desperately wants to fight Manny, I dont think he gives a toss about Ortiz, besides, $5 million is his guarantee against Pac, so he will probably earn more if it sells well, and it probably will. It would far outsell a fight with Victor.
