It'd better if it were to take place at 140 at the very least since Manny[According to his team] can still fight at JWW. I'm actually not against that fight at all, but i won't give Manny full credit for it now that it is at a catch-weight of 144 like the Mayweather-JMM bout.

the fact they are fighting at 144 isn't really a big deal, marquez and pacquiao are both about the same size, but pacquiao just has a better frame to add weight. On fight night they will both weigh the same. Floyd refused to release his weight on fight night against marquez - why is that?! marquez revealed his weight, which was 148. ****, marquez might even weigh more then pacquiao on fight night.

For a catchweight of 144 lbs, anyone know what's the lowest weight Marquez can go come weigh-in time?

I'm pretty sure that technically you can come as low as you like, in any weight class. Though the commission might step in if its a mismatch.

Is anyone surprised by the quickness on how pac next fight was scheduled. I guess it can be assume that Arum is never going to try to do The Dream Fight until he milked pac for every dime. He even have his next three fights lined up. Marquez, Judah and Bradley. So is safe to say this is going to be a Hagler vs Leonard where is done to late.

There was no attempt what so ever this time around and probably wasn't really an attempt the other times just smoke and mirrors.

I believe anything can happen in boxing, but not this time around. I love Marquez but if a heavier Margarito, Cotto and Clottley couldn't hurt him I don't see Marquez having a chance now that pac is comfortable at welter weight.
