Comments Thread For: Kessler vs Bouadla Announced For June 4 in Denmark

According to former super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler (43-2, 32KOs), his return is officially scheduled for June 4 in Copenhagen. The opponent will be Mehdi Bouadla (22-3, 10KOs) of France. Kessler has not fought since last April's decision win over Carl Froch in the Super Six Boxing Classic. The Danish star withdrew from the ongoing tournament with an eye injury. He believes the injury initially occured during his technical decision loss to Andre Ward on November 22, 2009. There has been some discussion about a possible fight with undefeated IBF champion Lucian Bute in the fall.

So no fight against Renan St-Juste to introduce himself to the Quebec fans ? I wonder why they have picked a different tune-up.

Bouadla tkos the blind euro robot in 6.

      VIVA LE FRANCAIS!

Actually if Kessler can stop this guy, it would be better than Gennady Golovkin did as Golovkin won a decision against the Frenchie.

I dont get that either. St. Juste seemed perfect with his southpaw stance and canadian background.

He's too dangerous for Keller, St:Juste won his last fight by a impressive KO

St Juste is so good he managed to get beat in his previous fight against a total stiff.

Kessler (Not Keller) even at this stage of his career would have too much in the tank for St Juste.
