The point of the thread the OP was making wasn't whether Margarito was smart (as some of you countered) for taking the beating but rather that he showed tons of heart throughout the fight. The point is that there are going to be times when the person across the ring will be faster or stronger. The point is that fans appreciate when warriors fight inspite of being outgunned still looking for that win. Cotto did the same for a good portion of the fight. So much respect to him as well. Clottey and Mosley in respect to the point of this thread obviously greatly disappointed thus cheating the fans

but found out quickly that if he took the necessary risks to win at this stage that manny had ample power to knock him out

he wasn't throwing not only to keep manny from finding opportunities, he wasn't throwing because he wanted to avoid return punishment from manny
like he didn't want to make him mad
      and manny bought into it

      both men are slipping

touching the gloves drove me bonkers
      they are there to fight
i paid sixty bucks to watch that fight last night after a junk undercard with one stand out spectacular fight (arce and vasquez jr)

manny at his best punishes the version of shane that showed up last night
i don't know if it's mental, physical, or due to his preparation, or his age, but he was nowhere near the beast that lit up cotto, or even more spectacularly de la hoya and hatton in total whitewashes/ clinics

manny's got a lot to prove in his next fight in terms of the opponent he faces
and how well he does against him

he looked like his legs are beginning to show their age last night
the emergence of his complaints about pain/injury in the legs isn't an argument against that, it's an argument for it

      Styles make fights, however
and even shot shane would still go to war with another slow ****er (it's a ****ing shame that i'm calling shane slow at this point, but he's reacting slowly to punches)
shane vs marg 2 will still be a war
      make it happen, bob
This and the rest of your post was the point I was trying to make.

Yea, Pacq needs to fight more mexicans and less black americans. Nobody wants to see someone run around the ring for 12 rounds, they want to see a Fight. thats what people are paying them for, they not paying them to run for 12 rounds. If you want to run go run a marathon or the 100m.

This is why 99% of the Black American Boxers have no fans. Because they are scared to take risks and slug it out, they all follow Bhop's lame ass method of turtling/running and 1 punch counters.

Atleast I like Mosley and unlike Bhop and his followers like Ward/Direll and the rest of the black fighters who have 0 fans, he didnt try to lowblow or headbutt his way to a cheesy win.

I still Respect Mosley 100x more than

        Dawson
        Berto
        Direll
        Bhop
        Alexander

and all the rest of the cowards who have no balls to get legit wins and give people a show. This is why they have no fans and nobody wants to see them fight.

Look at the Arce fight last night, even tho the young kid lost he gained alot of new fans, the black americans dont realize this, people dont care who wins or loses, they want to see a fight. Then they wonder why nobody wants to see them fight and they have to fight on Indian Reservations or foreign countries.

Quick question. What you think about him fighting Bradley at 147?
I love the Bradley fight compared to his last 2 fights and compared to the fights that I'm reading that he might fight next.

There has been a trend with Pac opponents lately. There are either old washed up, or shot to pieces, or recycled fighters. Bradley would be something new cuz' he's neither of that. I would be Pac first opponent in a long time that it's actually a top prime fighter. And, it would be fresh blood. Bradley is not recycled.

I like a Bradley fight more than his last 2 fights but i dont see Bradley in the same league as Pac at all and think it will be a one sided stoppage. The only fights i see for Pac where his opponent has a 50-50 shot or better is Floyd and Martinez.

Yeah it's about that time. I would rather not do it but I'm going to make it my business to **** on Mexican fighters.

                I agree with that.

I think once Mosley felt Pacquiao's power, he called it a night.

                I doubt we'll be seeing Pacquiao-Mayweather soon.

Maybe so, and I could agree with that. But, I would give Pac more credit for beating a top prime fighter in a one sided fashion. Than I do in Pac beating old, washed up, shot, recycled fighters in a one sided fashion.

I know what you're saying but when it comes down to it i honestly dont see Bradley being even as competitive as Margarito or Cotto was. I think it will end early and i would hate to see Bradley get ruined like Vargas did.
