This fight hurt the sport there is no question about that, boxing lost fans last night casual or not.
Not agreed you know how many fans must be lost in ufc every event when they see 2 ****s rolling around on the ground this was still much better then any ufc i've seen, and every boxing fan knows boxing's not just Pac and May they are just the most publicized. Boxing lives on way past any other sport
Those mother****ers are rock ****** if they think manny's fight with floyd is going to be any more entertaining
if they don't want to see boxing they shouldn't go to a boxing match
you want to watch you meatheads swinging wildly at each other and somebody being knocked unconscious and hurt go to a bar or a car wreck
those people booing last night all wasted hundreds of dollars on their tickets
**** them
Don't you think people who spend hundreds of dollars on a ticket have the right to boo if fighters don't deliver.
Arce-Vazquez was an excellent fight, and Pavlik-Lopez was also a pretty good scrap.
and that's putting a positive spin on things. Unfortunately, Bob Arum took his protection of Manny too far this time and sold it to the general public, I really believe this put a black eye on boxing.
When even Ross Greenburg start to tell it like it is, you know something has gone wrong.

Agreed on the Arce-Vazquez fight, not so much on Pavlik.. but those are not ppv fights they belong in regular showtime or hbo, but uncle bob is to damn greddy to admit it. And giving the fact that top rank spent exactly 5 mins (exagerating lol) in promoting the other fights on the card, and basing the whole promotion on pacquiao-mosley which turned out to suck lol.......EPIC FAIL...
Boxing is the realest and greatest sport ever. Its just u got guys like Mosley who fought like a b*tch and that makes people who don't love the sport, think even less of it.
