those jump in pitty pat combos won't work against the superior skilled mayweather. if thats the best that pac can do aginst and old and shot fighter that could'nt move. pac tries that with mayweather and gets put on his ass.money's laser sharp counters will totally embarrass pac.

It was a boring fight overall but i'm not blaming Pacquiao. After the second rd. knockdown of Mosley, that was it! Mosley starts back pedaling and in defensive until the late rounds. So much for an action packed fight for Mosley. Mosley, never again. You had a good run and a future hall of famer. Pacquiao should fight the only 4 great and feasible fighters for him:
1) Mayweather (Must)
2) Bradley
3) Khan
4) Martinez (Ultimate Test)
5) Retire

It looked like it wasn't that big of shot but it was perfectly placed and Shane didn't see it coming. Manny being Manny.

Those where my exact thoughts on the knock down. When Manny thows his combos one or two might miss but, the one that does get througth can mess you up.

No way will a fight with Martinez take place. Pac struggles to maintain 145 much less 160. He is way too small. The guy is coming from 122 for Pete's sake. I think ligit fights are Mayweather, Khan and Bradley.

yeah man, that look on his face was like he couldnt believe he had been hit that hard, shane looked like he didnt want to get up. ****m should have been a little harder on shane telling him to man up and fight! instead of those lies he was telling"your doin good" and all that bs! after this fight i got even more respect for Cotto standing there and fighting like a man, Shane and Clottey ran like cowards, Margarito was a human punching bag, nothing without his magic plaster hands.

Clottey didn't run he just blocked and after cotto tasted the power for a wee bit he started running too (though he was still fighting in the mid rounds) towards the last few rounds.

I think pacquiao will wait to counter mayweather just like he did against mosley. Maybe mayweather would also be surprised by this change of tactic. Also pacquiao didn't need many combos to knockdown mosley.

could have been a more exciting fight if Mosley was a little younger...he's wise enough to run from Manny which resulted to a less exciting fight...

I don't think so, when Mosley can't impose his will and size, he gets deterred. He did it in the Winky fight, Winky walked him down with his high guard and a jab; and Shane couldn't do isht about it.
