By Jake Donovan - The Telefutura Solo Boxeo telecast opened up with Andrade’s brother, Enrique Ornelas recovering from a knockdown to take a unanimous decision over recently unretired Hector Hernandez in their eight-round co-feature.
Scores were 78-73 across the board, though not entirely indicative of the action that took place.
Things got off to a rocky start for Ornelas (31-7, 20KO), who was dropped in the opening round by the modest hitting Hernandez. An uppercut produced the bout’s first knockdown, although Ornelas recovered relatively quickly and gained control by rounds end.
