So what?... what is your point here? You're going to hold it against Pac as well since he lost to two fighters even worse than Augustus? I thought so. Favorite boxing writer - says it all.

all the fighters who hurt floyd are half the fighter that pac is. not only that, but that was a much younger, quicker, active floyd that recovered. That wont be the case if floyd & pac fought now.

This was a very interesting article by one of my favorite boxing writers. HIs theory is not as crazy as it sounds considering how hesitant floyd is to get in the ring with pac.
I do not know what would happen. Pac is a great finisher as well. Maybe Pac stops him or maybe Floyd like before when getting hurt comes back and whoops ass.

I really don't know. Both are elite, both are 2 of the best of this era, both are ATG's. It's why this is an interesting fight to me.

Augustus was a much much better fighter than what his record indicates. Tough tough fighter.

No doubt, that's why I think because of Floyd fighting style and sometimes his reluctance to fight the best out there that his heart and toughness gets truly underrated.

He has showed toughness and heart when faced with adversity in the ring. And, he's done it for years.

the point is pacquiao lost when he was a damn teenager, a unfinished product, basically living in abject poverty. Floyd, who was bred to be a boxer, went to the olympics, is from a family of boxers, & whose career was guided by top rank for the bulk of his career got hands put on him when he was a finished product by fighters of lesser caliber than pac WHEN floyd was younger, much quicker, much more active. Its important when the fights happened. Its important what happened in your prime.

Point is, floyd getting rocked by southpaws in his absolute apex prime is a much more telling sign than pacquiao getting knocked out before he became who he is. Not to mention floyd senior's worries about floyd facing southpaws.

OK, I don't care that Pac lost when he was a teenager, I didn't even mention that so why quote me?

I don't care that Floyd got rocked by southpaw. What does that have to do with my posts?

I thinks its quite possible that Pac will hurt Floyd in the opening 4 rounds. But if he were to, I don't think he will finish him.

Floyd has shown he knows how to handle being hurt, he is excellent at weathering the storm, he has done it time and time again. Floyd also has shown he has heart, and can handle being under pressure.

People are acting like if Pac hurts him it will be the first time he has ever been tested and he will get frantic and panic. It's not.

Exactly what I was going to say. I mean since when is Floyd Mayweather a 10 fight prospect who's never been hit hard? Gimme a break.
