Manny carried 130lb of muscle-mass and conditioning into that fight.

Against the lightweight Marquez, Manny can carry up to 147lbs.

    You are truly ignorant.

The mexicans have an insecurity problem, they can't stand it when smaller countries like Philippines produce superior fighters. With all the mexican fighters they still can't beat Pac. Suck it up Mexico! Marcos lost both fights-see record!

It is a joke that the catch-weight king will not consider anything less than 147lbs to fight the 38yo midget Marquez. The fact that a Marquez/Pacquiao matchup would be held at a higher weight than when Manny won his welterweight title..... is absurd.

The only welter that Manny has EVER fought at 147 is Josh Clottey.

The manipulating of advantages by Pacquiao is now so obvious it is impossible to ignore, even *******s must be starting to cringe.

Fighting Cotto at 145, but insisting that Marquez come up to 147, is fkn lame.

Not like I have been denying it everytime one of you brings it up but you guys never seem to bring up that I gave him his props after the fight(s). Cotto at 145 wasn't a better win/fight than Mosley at 147, no matter if Cotto beat Mosley barely (at 147 not 145). I just think once you put Manny in the ring with a guy who is a technical fighter then he will not look so dominate. Pac hasn't proved me wrong regarding his improvements because he hasn't fought anyone as technical since JMM.

PS if Manny Pacquiao was as great as you and others lead him on to be then when Shane was begging for the fight after Margarito. Pac would have fought him but instead Roach made up a catchweight that he knew Mosley couldn't make. How could he offer Mosley 142/43 and give Cotto 145? Actually they tried to get Cotto down lower but he refused. That's what logical people call wanting a handicap.
Let's keep it real and recognize it's Arum who helps pick Manny's opponents and not Roach.

Roach never wanted to fight Margarito and actually preferred Marquez. Roach was also campaigning for a Valero showdown but again Arum put him in his place by telling the media that Roach has no say in who Manny fights and his job is being a trainer....nothing more.

If you disagree, then please tell me which fighter that Manny has fought, that was picked by Roach.

With that said, Cotto was chosen over Shane for the following reasons:

          1. He beat Shane
          2. He was a bigger draw (the third biggest draw in the sport behind Manny and Floyd)
          3. He was about to jump ship to GBP unless he got a fight with Manny.
          4. He was a Top Rank fighter, meaning Arum kept all the money in house.
          5. If Manny fought Shane instead, Arum would not only split the profit with GBP, but also there is a clause in Manny's contract that if GBP does an event involving him, they get an additional percentage for the cut the promoters split.

So it made perfect sense, and was advantageous to Arum to make Pacquiao vs Cotto. I mean I challenge you to bring up a reason as to why it made more sense to face Shane instead of Miguel, especially when Miguel beat Shane when they fought.

Also if Pacquiao would have fought Shane instead, I guarantee you would be the first one claiming he ducked Cotto by facing the loser instead of the winner of that bout.

            check that dude,
it's 0-1-1. Give Marquez the draw. Even though ref made a mistake, to survive a Pacman fight and even hurt Pacman, I'd say give him a draw.

Know your boxing. just because it's 147, it doesn't mean Marquez gots to go to 147. It just means that's the heaviest one can go to. If Marquez feels like he has to be 140 to be in good condition, then it aint no pr0bz! He can weigh in at 140! Quit the *****in', Marquez isn't even *****in about the weight.

bro, marquez is the same fighter now as he was back then...whereas the pac of the past is no where near the pac of now...so to say marquez will always give pac problems is in accurate. pac today is a beast that fights in control, that has movements, that has better combos from different angles, using jabs more often...this pac now is a beast...the pac back then was more of a brawler, that only had a left and hardly a jab

this pac is different, u cant say that same about marquez...marquez of the past is still marquez of the present...marquez bring nothing different...just his age ;o)

Despite a limit of 147-pounds, they expect Pacquiao to weigh in around 144. With a reported guarantee of $5 million dollars on the table for a fall pay-per-view meeting, Marquez is very close to the fight he truly desires.

You sound shook, because you know d@mn well what's gonna happen to Marquez this November.

Like I said, enjoy him while you can as that will be his last fight.
