ive been saying for months shanes best chance to win this fight is to stay in

the middle of the ring, not move, not chase, not go after pacman...do not

waste or expend energy chasing and trying to throw punches off balance...

if i was shane i would stay in the middle of the ring, not move an inch and

when pac comes in then adjust my footing and throw 2 and 3 punch combinations

only short, straight, sharp punches, body and head...

    conserve energy and stay collected....

then after a few rounds mix in some looping right hands....

but the key to this fight for shane is not to chase and waste energy and

    tire out...

dont try to out speed pac like he did floyd, just allow the punches to create

    openings

I love Manny Pacquiao and everything that's he has given to boxing, but I'm definitely going with my man Shane on this one.

The odds are stacked against him, and he's going after the best fighter in the world.

One week away. Make history, brother!

Mosely will have many opportunities to knock Manny out. I don't know why people are sleeping on Shane. The only question mark is stamina.

True enough, jbpanama, he did. I was thinking of his fight with Floyd but most opponents fade against Floyd.

If trainer Richardson gets Shane pumping out that jab, supplement them with short, crisp crosses along with the uppercut as Manny comes in (which is going to be often), he comes out a winner.

Pacquiao has gotten soft, fighting larger, slower opponents for big money. He deserves credit for taking on bigger guys but that doesn't negate the fact that his last tough fight stylistically was against Marquez. That's way too long.

I wouldn't be surprised if Shane gets a KO.

In this fight I want nothing more than for SHANE to win , pacroid is the BAD guy in this fight hes picking on a very faded 40 yr -old former -great for very cheap reasons, simply to not have to live up to his duty and take on the best available opposition. When shane was in his prime he lived up to his pound for pound ranking he fought the best he didnt take on no-hoper after no hoper like pac does, shane was a better champion and fighter , pac wouldnt of survived 6 rounds with a shane in his prime, , Im pulling for Shane hes a more humble guy and frankly has more Class than pac ever will. This fight is more arum- pac -roach garbage dont order it send a message.

As a Mosley fan, I make the following arguments:

                  1) Against Mayweather: Shane seemed mentally defeated, being unable to cope with the extremely fast reflexes of Floyd. Couple that with Mayweather's superior defense, and Shane just didn't have any answers for him. Lastly, he had a year and a half layoff prior to the fight.

                  2) Against Mora: Mora was much more bigger physically. Watch any round of that fight, and you can visually observe how Mora was a much bigger guy. Shane's most comfortable fighting weight is at 147, where Mora has fought regularly at 160. The contracted weight was 154, and Mora even weighed in initially at 157. The size difference didn't help Mosley at all. In addition to that, Mora's style was ALL wrong for Mosley. He barely engaged, and was backpedaling almost the entire night. Shane's stamina issues weren't helped out with him having to chase Mora around all night.

These are the views of a diehard Mosley fan. However, I'm not so naive where I won't concede that the stronger argument is that, at age 39, Mosley simply has skills that have declined and he probably can't pull trigger anymore.

I won't believe that though. I believe that Shane is a warrior, and everything that a fighter should be. So I'm gonna ride with my good brother for this fight, and predict that he'll shock the world again... just like he did against Margarito. Mosley by mid-rounds TKO.
