Don't let these Tyson haters convince you that Mike had limitations.
As long as he had Rooney with him, anything (positive) was possible.
Don't let Mike's short arms lead you to believe he couldn't have had a left jab like Larry Holmes, or the same kind of straight right like Tommy Hearns. Don't allow the haters tell you he was not FLEET-FOOTED enough to be just like Ali.
Stand strong against these jealous fools, Cats. Live up to your name "Catskills". That name means "strength" in my eyes.

so your saying that i should believe that tyson had the feet to dance eventhough he showed against holyfield that he couldnt box on the back foot give me constructive evidence why you think tyson could dance like ali .

i'm just going to pipe in real fast and then this thread will probably die off- but my assesment is this (and i hope its not a repeat, im just going off the thread title);
tyson never danced for a very good reason. half, if not more, of his jaw crushing punching power came from his legs. its definately no secret that he lunged up into all of his power punches, just look at how muscular and enormous his legs are. in his 80's fights they sometimes look disproportional to his body. but he needed to be flat footed most of the time in order to be ready to lunge at a moments notice in order to rock his opponents dome. so not only did he not dance, he shouldn't have even tried it because it would have messed up his overwhelmingly effective offense.
edit: wow i just realized this **** has like 54 pages already. sorry guys. ****** post on a ******, played out thread
