    According to reports in Mexico, WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez is leaning in the direction of accepting an offer to fight Manny Pacquiao for a third time in October. According to Univision, the boxer received a formal written offer from Pacquiao's promoter Top Rank with financial details that are reportedly enticing to the boxer. Marquez also has a lucrative two-fight deal on the table from Golden Boy Promotions, who also have the ability to match Top Rank's offer.

    Marquez is looking to make some money against PACQUIAO before he retires. PACQUIAO beats him bad. And the last fight they had? PACQUIAO WON EASY!!!!!

      No details of what the offer was from Top Rank? We all know Pac will get put in the same situation as he has been with the "selection" of fighters and the weights for those fighters if this offer was at 147 lbs. At the end of the day its never been about the size of the fighter. Its always WHO the fighter is.

          Yeah, you should've seen what Pac did to Marquez' fists with his face! Anyways, Marquez loses to Pac this time but gets to make some serious million$ before he retires. Beats losing to Judah for 90% less.

            i hope this happens - pacsmash will win decisively in this third encounter, i believe. marquez is still just as much, if not more on top of his game, but pacquiao has evolved into an entirely different beast since their 2008 rematch. pac will be the first man to stop marquez.

              hope pacman dont fight marquez...pac is just givin jmm a huge payday...pac's win will be discredited anyways...just wait til my nephew end his vacation, and lets see what happens.

                    Marquez is just looking for one last big payday. He would probably beat Judah, though, cuz he still backs up straight, EVERYTIME, like when he got caught by Tszu.
