It is clearly obvious why Arum did not want a rematch with JMM at 130.

And if you don't know what that reason is, then go watch the fight again.

If you do not understand Arum's modus operandi, and cannot see the lengths that he will go to protect his interests, then you should give yourself an uppercut.

Yo man...... Marquez beat the top guys at 135 while Pac fought the weakest champion there. Marquez is one the greats. Not cosigning this movement against Marquez.

Is Zab Judah not the weakest title holder at 140 and yet you sign off on that fight? Casamayor was the linear champ at 135, but it's not all that great of a win either after seeing him in the fight against Cruz.

JMM could've signed with Top Rank and he likely would've gotten the third fight he deserved against Pacquiao. I also think Rios would've been a good fight for him. He'd be a tougher challenge than Judah would, that's for sure. And JMM could even fight the winner of Bradley-Khan for the real title. Just because Pacquiao cherry picks opponents doesn't mean that it makes it okay for JMM to take easy fights either which is pretty much what he has done outside Floyd. Although I think calling Katsidis an easy opponent is a stretch, he still lost to Guerrero here recently. The Diaz rematch was totally pointless.

You guys make me laugh. You call Manny every name in the book (eg. coward) for coming up a division or two and asking for catchweights (against some fighters who still have a 15lb advantage at fight night) but then you guys say, if Manny doesn't come down in weight and do a catchweight fight with Marquez then its bad and should be frowned upon.

The way you 2 condemn catchweights on Manny would make anyone think you would hate catchweights no matter the circumstance. I could have bought that BUT from what I'm reading, I guess catchweight is good as long as its not to help Manny, right?

You guys even go as far as to say, Manny coming down 4lbs to a catch weight of 143 is not enough .... Manny, the WW champ, should come down 7lbs to 140.

You guys should be more consistent .....


Note: Please don't come back and say, Manny is a natural JWW because that would make your JMW catchweights cowardliness and frowning upon pretty dumb and still not answer why you like catchweights for this fight but not when it helps Manny!
