I would love to see Miguel against Ortiz at WW. I would give Cotto the edge.

If Cotto hurts Ortiz with a body shot, I can see him stopping Ortiz...but otherwise, I must say it's a fair fight and anybody can win. Ortiz can stop Miguel too.

This is what's wrong about boxing. People are too stuck in the past that they don't wanna give the younger fighters a chance against an older shot fighter lol Ortiz stops Cotto by round 11. He stops Cotto late only cuz Margarito ruined him. Cotto couldn't get rid of a shot Mayorga who a 35 year old DLH with a two year lay off destroyed while Mayorga was in his prime. Everyone knew that Cotto vs Ortiz would solidify Ortiz as a PPV fighter. GBP gave TR Mosley for Cotto to come out, and they need to return the favor of the business by giving Cotto to Ortiz. I doubt Cotto can land the right hooks or poise an explosive left cross to knock down Ortiz. Cotto is not explosive anymore he has heavy hands, but he lost his explosiveness after the Judah fight. Ortiz is fast, explosive, and heavy handed. He will time Cotto and use angles like Pacquiao did. Good luck tryina hurt Ortiz with body shots Cotto!

cotto's defense and skills are still too much for ortiz. I like cotto in this fight to win. ortiz has better than a puncher's chance tho because he is pretty big and strong and he is southpaw.

margarito makes berto take a knee and quit. no ****in doubt about it

this is a great fight. clottey has a good chance to outbox mosley if he can keep mosley behind the jab like winky.

Margarito vs Berto - Hmmm....Berto? Don't think Margarito can do it anymore.

Clottey vs Shane - Clottey in close UD/SD. Homie got good D and can go 12 rds.

Cotto vs Ortiz - This is a tougher one to call. It depends if Cotto will be fighting going forward or backward. Cotto is a southpaw fighting in an orthodox position and his right hand is not that powerful. His jab is gonna work overtime to keep Ortiz going forward as his straight right is not gonna do that much to Ortiz. Let see here... Berto doesn't have that good of a jab. Ortiz has habit of exposing his chin when he misses badly. Might have to take a raincheck here but I am gonna go Cotto in a close decision.

Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, Joshua Clottey (closest one out of the three)

Great post mate, and I totally agree when you say this is what's all wrong about boxing.

The young champs should be feasting on the past prime warriors to build their stature, not the top fighters doing that...
