I was watching the 1st 2 rds and Berto's doing all the wrong things! He's keep moving to his Right & becoming an easy target for the Lefty Ortiz! That's a simple intructions to solve Ortiz & Berto's corner were all useless!

Berto's trainer wasn't the problem. Its was the other black dude in his corner that was talking over his trainer. Berto's face wasn't focused in the corner. He looked completely out of it inbetween the later rounds.

That was funny when Berto was trying to touch gloves and be cool while Ortiz wasn't having none of it, I guess Berto saying he would make Ortiz quit struck a nerve with Victor.

        HAHAHAHA..

Berto's corner rivals Pavlik's corner in terms of overall incompetency. At least with Pavlik's corner, you have concrete instructions even if it's limited to "doubling up the jab." Ahahahahah

Berto needs to start being more professional when it comes to these very important subtle things.
            agreed.

I've always said his trainer is garbage and his fam doesn't help with their garbage instructions.

what berto really needs is a strength and conditioning coach so he doesn't gas after 6 rounds in a tough hard fight. notice he went back to holding as a tactic to avoid exchanges.

It was funny, there were quite a few rounds where his trainer would be saying something and that moron outside would be contradicting him.

Same thing happened in the Collazo fight.

You could tell the trainer was getting pissed off because all he was saying is "Listen to me, listen to ME!!! listen to ME!!!!"

While his brother was telling him to be a ninja.

Some of the best stuff though was his brother just repeating what the trainer said like a parrot while trying to add his own emotion as if he knew wtf he was talking about.

do you fire the trainer or the brother first?
Trainer, that guy seems like a clown to me. He said he found Andre when he was 10 and has been training him ever since. It almost seems like one of those guys that hangs around the inner city basketball courts to pick up kids before they get big time so they can leech off of them. The guy doesn't know much boxing or at least an effective way to convey it.

Berto would never get rid of his brother anyway

[QUOTE=mrpain81;10391328][I]It hasn't improved because he spends more time in the club and flying around the country going to concerts then in the gym refining his skills.

wow, really? i had no idea that Berto had the Floyd Mayweather waste all my money and time mentality. If true he needs to grow up
