    I pretty much agree.....

But the thing is, Berto is gonna ask Vic ALL of the appropriate questions in this fight. Ortiz will be thoroughly tested, and this fight will be the first true indicator as to exactly where he is at since the Maidana debacle.

IF, Vic does not step up to the plate this time, then his career is effectively over..... but I do agree with you that is very unlikely to happen.

I don't think people really understand what happened to him in that fight.

And I do agree with you that Ortiz could lose a close fight, retain a level of credibility, and move on to other notable fights at 147, that would not necessarily be his last chance if he put on a good performance..... but, there is no such thing as a gatekeeper who is a hot commodity, it all depends on what he brings this time out, it is now or never.

Agreed. The thing is, if Ortiz comes to fight, Berto is going to get some questions asked of him. Maybe we can finally get some answers.

Neither Berto nor Ortiz have achieved significant unprecedented weight gains whilst seemingly increasing speed and power..... and neither have refused OST's.

          Good point.

I think that Vic is gonna bring it, and put on a real good challenge here.

I am seriously up for this fight.

Something is gonna happen at 147 tomorrow, that's for sure.

            He looks like a hobo.

If I let my facial hair grow for 2-3 weeks, that is how it would look like. That's why I don't let it grow. Looks crappy. Some guys just can't grow decent beards.

Well I hope he doesn't bring it like he brought to Peterson because that is not what I call bringing it. Berto is bigger, faster and better than Peterson so yeah, Ortiz better bring it. Anything less he's getting knocked out.

Me too, man. When it first was announced I was intrigued but not blown away. But as the fight got closer I realized this is a damn good matchup. With the possibility of some serious fireworks. Can't wait, man.

While others look like Victor 5 hours after putting down the razor.

Chin vs. heart. Ortiz might expose Berto if he gets a huge shot in. Berto could get an easy TKO if he jumps him early.

He's not that kid anymore. Thats the attitude change I was looking for.
