Expect this fight to be negotiated next month. This is uncharacteristic of Maidana. GBP is clearly behind this with Floyd's backing. This has the same footprints as the Marquez fight which is even obvious -- Floyd coming out of retirement to fight Marquez because he called him out? Give me a ****ing break.

Floyd vs Morales would sell alot better than Maidana. I would definately rather see Floyd fight Pacquiao 1st and then the winner of Khan/Bradley or Martinez.

I want, in order.....

* Maidana / Matthyse - it would likely be the best fight, and I do not rate chino's chances against Bradley.

* Maidana / Bradley - it would be the second most credible title-matchup at 140.

* Maidana / Khan - the rematch, we all saw why

I don't really like Floyd "No Way I will Risk my Zero" Mayweather, but if Maidana almost lost to Morales, it is unlikely that he will beat Floyd.

A rematch with Khan is a more winnable fight for him.
