Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt, was holding on for dear life and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was badly hurt several times in the fight.

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

You always have to give Tyson a punchers chance in his prime but that's where it stops.. The brothers would beat Tyson.. If Tyson could never beat evander what makes you think he can beat the brothers... These Russians are hella good, Tyson was solid but a very flawed fighter cuz of his size.. look at the 1st round. prime tucker had a world class jab & he was 6'5 who knew how to fight beyond tall......(tyson had no problem getting under that jab & ripping him up with body shots & head shots)

holyfield was a MONSTER in his day. wlad would crumble in under 4 rounds against prime holy. you gotta be on crack to believe other wise. vitali wouldn't fair much better against A prime holyfield ether.....this is the same holyfield who lost 13 pounds in the ring ALONE from volume punching over the course of 15 rounds (insane)....he would have no problem jumping in and out with vicious combinations against ether klit (a past prime holy has a draw & 12 round decision loss to lewis while vitali was stopped in under 7 rounds against a fat lewis) BTW ray Mercer almost beat lewis, the same ray Mercer that holmes schooled after being ko'd by tyson. there is nothing special about vitali putting up a fight for 3 rounds against a fat lewis & then getting blooded fatigued & stopped. guys like mercer & tucker actually almost beat a *PRIME* lewis you baffoons.

1. No certainity he is a HOF hell he has beaten nobody of note.

2. The blueprint to beat him is to batter his face until he can't see out of one of his eyes because of his lack of defence.

3. How can someone with 2 losses be unbeatable surely that is some form of contradiction.

4. Vitali dominated Lewis so much he had to stop cos he required about 60 sitiches to his face oh wait it was the other way around.
