What exactly did Clottey do earn his shot rome?

He at least fought two top 5 WW's and beat Judah(also ranked at WW at the time)..He may have lost those two bouts against top 5 WW but he did fight umm which is the most important part..Berto has not even fought anyone of merit..Collazo is his best win and that was suspect,and he ran from a rematch..Dude does not deserve a big money fight with Pac hands down..

Well I want to see Berto get that beating so I'm rooting for Pacquiao to fight him. I don't want to see Bradley or Mike Jones or Khan get that kind of beating, and those are the only other younger fighters Pacquiao could credibly fight.

TBH Pac's career is damn near over,I say maybe the most three fights left..JMM is the best opposition out there for Pac imo and it makes plenty of sense..After that if Berto fought a Jones or Cintron then we can talk but as of right now giving Berto this kinda fight only encourages fighters to be protected and not test them self's against the best in their div..If he fights Pac you know how hard it will be for Jones to get a fight with him??Damn near impossible..
