If Manny wasn't weight drained at the weigh in for the second fight,

I suppose he could, but does he want to considering 147 is his chosen weight to campaign in now.

But Pac beat DLH at 147 and then dropped to 140 to trounce Hatton so why cant Morales come down one weight to fight pac at a weight he beat Pac, when he couldnt even do it at lightweight first time.?
Pac dont seem like he would have a problem coming down to 140 does it?

Morales was in his prime when beat Pac in what was the performance of his life. He was also in his prime when he lost to Pac.

You dont suddenly become not prime just cos you have a loss. That is called a off night performance or bad day at the office.

Yes Morales was prime in the first fight with Pac, but Pac made Morales shop worn. Thats why Raheem got Morales at the right time. He shouldnt have taken the raheem fight so soon after beating Pac, and may have been better easing into it again.

Pac made Morales easy for Raheem. Life would be easier if people just gave Pac the respect he deserves. We can all put a spin on things if we want to do. Prime Pac beats prime Morales anyday anyway.

It wasn't so much that Manny was weight drained throughout his career. He just simply outgrew each division. He's a natural 138-142 pounder right now. He can probably make 135 if he really tries and wants to (but if you want results check the image below). 140 is his prime weight and 147 is still a limit he has yet to reach.

C'mon, what other fighter out there is supposedly ducking both the lightweight and middleweight champs? Stop lying to yourselves about the fight with Sergio. If Manny can weigh in at least 150 lbs without looking like he ate three happy meals for breakfast, I'd be sold.

January 2006 - 130 - Third fight at Super Featherweight

January 2008 - 130 - Last fight at Super Featherweight

                July 2008 - 135 - Only fight at Lightweight

Don't you think the Manny @ 135 looks somewhat similar to Oscar below?

And Morales cant and gets excused, and it was against a work in progress Pac as welll.
Yup, funny how Pac wanted the fights at 130.

Pac did come down in weight to beat Hatton at 140 after outclassing DLH dont forget. So Pac can fight bigger guys and smaller guys.
If your great you do what you gotta do. Just prepare yourself as best as you can and do what your trained to do on fight night. Pac does that.
