i like martinez as a fighter... but when he started to open his mouth, all the garbage started to lurk in...

i think martinez is obsessed of being named the top fighter... he is so obsessed about it that he never noticed that he is starting to sound like a girl...

sergio has the balls to call out cotto, floyd and pacquiao... but those balls seems to go up on his neck when someone ask him to fight at 168... "oh, i need some time to add more muscles before i go up in weight"... what an assbag...

so whose next for the great sergio?.. manfredo?... well, i think his days on 3rd spot are numbered....

Hatton and Pavlik were lineal champs, unbeaten in their divisions. Both coming off bad lossed to top p4p fighters. Hatton had worked his way back to be ranked top 10 p4p, schooling and beating the **** out of the best contdender maligngaggi. Pavlik had slipped out due to the embarrassing schooling Hopkins gave him and only beating a couple bums after.

Cotto and Williams are about the same, both ranked down the bottom of the top 10 p4p lists when martinez first fought williams (williams was about 5 in the 2nd fight). cotto was top 3 at welter, don't think williams was yet ranked at middle. cotto was a multiple weight champ, williams had fought at a few weights only had one title. both had recent losses, cotto to margo, williams to quintana, though he avenged that. cotto fought the better oppostion (margo, mosley, clottey, judah) than williams (margo, quintana)

Margarito and Cintron, no question margarito is the better opponent. margarito was coming off a bad loss to mosley, but so was cintron, smashed by none other than margarito a couple fights before martinez fought him. cintron wasn't even ranked in the top 100 p4p when he fought martinez, and wasn't even top 10 at 154.

a non-biased, non-sergio***ualised opinion wouldn't dare say martinez has the far better opposition.
That's a writer from Ring ****zine. Who opinion would be considered more valid? The same thing was said on ESPN too. Get over it man. Sergio Martinez built his respect up in the sport. you are trying to tell me that it is one man's opinion but it is many saying the same and that man is certified in the sport and YOU'RE NOT. Case closed.

Manny Pacquiao die hard fans are bugging trying to discredit Sergio Martinez's last opponents to make Pac look good. Fact of the matter is that Sergio Martinez got FOTY for his selection of opponents and in the fashion he beat them in. If Pacquiao opponents were equal or better than Martinez's, then they would have been a tie for the award. STOP MAKING UP S#!T! Damn sometimes I just can't stand most of Pac's fans. I'm posting things straight from the boxing journalist and analyst and Pac fans have the nerve to tell me that they opinions don't matter and then try to get me to see their opinions? Pac is being crusified for picking Mosley at this stage and on top of that. Pac fought 2 catchweight title fights and a fighter who hasn't won anything significant in his whole career (Clottey). Aside from Zudah, what has he done to deserve a fight with Pac? Almost beat a one eyed Cotto? The only reason why most Pac fans are trying to dissect Martinez's resume is because he is calling out Pac and making a claim for the #1 spot. If it was true what Manny Pacquiao fans were saying about Martinez and his past opponents then he wouldn't be shining right now and clearly that is not the case. Since you Pac guys want to try to make things up. I am going to put it to you plain and simple with the truth.......

            1. MANNY PACQUIAO
            Welterweight titlist
            Record: 52-3-2, 38 KOs
            Age: 32

            Manny Pacquiao

            Pacquiao

Hits: Pacquiao, the only eight-division titleholder in boxing history, has opened his training camp in the Philippines, where he is preparing for his May 7 Showtime PPV fight against Shane Mosley. It seems that, for a change, all is tranquil and none of the distractions that usually have accompanied Pacquiao's training camp have been seen.

Misses: Pacquiao should not be fighting Mosley, a once-great champion who was held to a draw in a horrible fight against Sergio Mora in September and who was wiped out in a near-shutout loss to Floyd Mayweather in his previous fight. Pacquiao is just picking up Mayweather's leftovers. Boxing fans deserve better.

            Manny Pacquiao fans PLEASE STOP!

Sergio ''the crybaby #2'' Martinez forget that Donaire is in front of him in the P4P ranking.

Never see a guy so obsseseb with the P4P ranking. Hopkins was never jalous at #2.
